Our Journey …
How did we start …
We began in 2008 when founder Paul Robinson put into action his plans for Exprodo, a web-based database platform. The first product based on Exprodo was Calpendo, an intelligent Core Facility Management System which was first used in 2009 at the University of Oxford. Since then, the strength of Calpendo has grown, with the Core Facility Management System now being utilised in universities across 5 continents and 16 different countries.
What do we do …
Calpendo was born out of conversations over the dinner table about how much easier facility management could be if only the right system existed. Paul’s solution turned out bigger, better and far more flexible than I imagined, and I’m very proud of his many happy customers all over the world. Calpendo improves efficiency and harmony in a clinical research environment; the busier the facility, the greater the benefit.
